Pressure regulation devices are crucial to maintaining safe, consistent, and efficient levels in high-pressure systems. They are used to prevent overpressure and pressure spiking that can damage components including pumps, spray guns, nozzles, and more! They are an affordable solution to what could turn into an expensive problem that can cause damage and downtime!
Unloaders are typically designed for use with a single gun or single pump operation. The pump unloader will maintain set system pressure with the trigger gun open and goes into bypass with the release of the trigger. Generally, 5-10 percent in by-pass is recommended for optimum performance. Unloaders are not recommended for weep systems.
On the flip side, regulators are designed for pumps, multi-nozzle, or weep systems. A regulator maintains set system pressure even when only one of several guns or nozzles is performing by-passing the unused flow. Similar to pump unloaders, 5-10 percent in bypass is recommended.
We sell regulators and unloaders from the top brands, including CAT Pumps, General Pump, and Giant Pump. Select from pre-set or adjustable unloaders, with a plenty of pressure ranges available! We also carry the necessary OEM parts and part kits to quickly repair your regulator or unloader on site instead of buying a new one!
