Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions are the commercial terms of sale of goods by Kleen-Rite Corp., its subsidiaries and affiliates and apply to all purchases of goods from Kleen-Rite Corp.by any Purchaser with notice of these terms, however gained, including the use of the Kleen-Rite Website, and all other sponsored websites by Kleen-Rite Corp.

Effective July 1, 2013, Kleen-Rite Corporation will be implementing a new Payment Policy Change: Any Non-Sufficient Checks or ACH Payments received will incur an additional charge of $25.00 to off-set the fees we are charged by the bank. We regret that this change must occur, but the fees and tedious work involved in tracking down and clearing these charge backs has made this policy change necessary.

Also, we have established a Procedure for Unpaid Invoices due to ANY reason, including declined credit cards: A Collections Letter will be sent the month following shipment of your order. If no response for payment is made within 30 days of the letter date, we have engaged an outside Collections Agency which will then handle all unpaid balances. Once an unpaid balance is submitted to the Collections Agency, there will be an additional charge of 25% of the full invoice amount added. Please feel free to contact the Accounts Receivable Department at anytime to discuss your account situation.

Formats for Acceptance of Orders

Phone, Web, Email, Chat, Fax, Counter Sales at all Kleen-Rite Corp. Warehouse Facilities. Text, eBay, Industry Show Orders and Applications such as, Tookstock and the Kleen-Rite Corp sponsored Stock App.

Backorders

All backorders are shipped F.O.B. from a Kleen-Rite Corp Warehouse Facilities or direct from the manufacturer, as soon as possible. Backorders of a small dollar value may be held for the next order.  These items may also be cancelled for reorder in the future. Any applicable freight charges will be charged to all backorders. Orders with free shipping on the original order will receive free shipping on the backorder shipment.

Ship Complete

Orders placed with Kleen-Rite Corp. are shipped as items become available from the manufacturer, if you wish to have all items shipped together in one shipment, the Purchaser must indicate that at the time of purchase.  Kleen-Rite Corp. reserves the right to hold any order as Ship Complete when Kleen-Rite Corp is responsible for the shipping costs, due to promotions.

Telephone & Fax Orders

  1. Please prepare your orders in advance
  2. When you call please provide the following info:
    • Your customer # and name
    • Shipping address if other than billing address
    • Shipping requirements (UPS or FedEx Ground, Next Day Air, 2nd Day, 3rd Day, Freight or Customer Pickup)
    • Credit Card number (Mastercard, Visa, Discover or American Express)
    • Product number, description and quantity

Freight Policy

  1. All orders are shipped UPS/FedEx or common carrier
  2. Inspect your packages for damages upon delivery and notify delivery agent before they leave your site.
  3. Freight charges are the responsibility of the customer and will be added to all orders.
  4. All orders are F.O.B. from Kleen-Rite or from manufacturer. Claims are the responsibility of the carrier.
  5. Reshipments due to errors will be shipped UPS/RPS ground only.
  6. Any quote of freight charges by a salesperson is an estimate only and may vary at the delivery time.

Pricing Policy

All prices including, but not limited to the most current catalog pricing are subject to change without notice. Orders will be invoiced at the prices prevailing at the date of shipment.

Payment Policy

Credit Cards – Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted.  Wire Transfer/EFT – International Customers and all freight forwarders. ACH Debits, CIA and Cash acceptable at all Kleen-Rite Corp. Warehouse Facilities.

Sales Tax

Purchaser is responsible to his/her individual state for all taxes if not added to the sales order. Customers requesting tax exemption will be required to supply a sales tax exemption form to have tax removed from the sales order. If there is an error or omission in how the taxes are stated on the sales order the Purchaser is still responsible for the proper amount of taxes to their state.

Chargebacks

Any Purchaser of goods must contact Kleen-Rite Corp., or its subsidiaries previous to taking any chargeback actions to resolve any outstanding issue.    Kleen-Rite Corp, reserves the right to hold the Purchaser responsible for any additional fees that are assessed due to any costs to recoup fees, or materials to resolve such matters. All materials must be returned to Kleen-Rite Corp. when processing any chargeback action.

Duties & Fees

Purchasers outside the continental United States are responsible to pay all duties, taxes, customs and/or any brokerage fees involved in the purchase of goods from Kleen-Rite Corp. its subsidiaries and affiliates.  Purchaser will be responsible for any fees or charges involved in the return of any goods due to non-payment of any duties and fees.

Storage Fees

Purchasers of goods from Kleen-Rite Corp., its subsidiaries and affiliates will be responsible for any storage fees or warehousing fees accessed due to the inability to deliver material in the timely manner, deemed reasonable by the responsible freight companies or warehouse facilities

Shipping Policies

All applicable orders are shipped via UPS/FedEx/USPS. Inspection of packages for damage is required upon delivery and notification to delivery agent of any damage before signing for goods.  Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and will be added to all orders, unless otherwise relieved by a promotion. All orders are F.O.B. from Kleen-Rite Corp Warehouse Facilities or direct from the manufacturer.  All claims are the responsibility of the carrier, but notification to Kleen-Rite Corp. Customer Care Team is necessary to complete any claims paperwork. This should be done immediately. Reshipments due to errors will be shipped UPS/FedEx/ Ground Only. Any quote of freight charges by a sales person is an estimate only and may vary at the time of delivery.

Returns

Items must be returned complete, in original packaging, unused, and in new condition, without alteration, within 30 days of receipt. Only items included on the RMA should be returned.  Please contact Customer Service for any additional items. Failure to return items as stated above may affect our ability to credit your account partially, fully and/or process any available warranties.  Additional fees may apply if items are not returned to the location stated on this RMA.  Shipping charges will apply to return any product to you from any Kleen-Rite Corp. Warehouse or any of our Manufacturers.

All hose and boom assemblies are made to order and may delay your order.

Warranty

Most of the products sold by Kleen-Rite carry the manufacturer’s warranty and are the sole responsibility of the manufacturer.  As a distributor, Kleen-Rite does not accept warranty returns for credit. Our trusted Vendors/Suppliers/Manufacturers will evaluate their items and determine how best to resolve any issues with their products, for our customers.  Kleen-Rite will facilitate that process on behalf of our customers, whenever possible. New products can be shipped for additional charges, while previously purchased items are evaluated. This item is not a replacement for items under evaluation by Vendors/Suppliers/Manufacturers. The Vendor/Supplier/Manufacturer can determine, with evaluation, to repair, replace, credit, or deny warranty of any product.  In the case of repair, if outside of warranty, additional fees may apply. You will be contacted by a member of our Returns and/or Customer Service Department for approval of any additional charges. In the case of a denied warranty, the item will be returned to the shipping address or disposed of (at your discretion) and no credit will be issued. Once all evaluation processes are complete, the item will be returned to you at the address listed on this RMA.  Kleen-Rite Corp. adheres to the warranty policies/evaluations of its Vendors/Suppliers/Manufacturers.

Shipping Estimator / Shipping Rates

The shipping rates shown are estimates. Your rates may vary based on the documented facts of the shipment.

The estimates are provided as a service to our customers. However, as each custom packing and shipping request is unique, so too is each estimate. Following are some general parameters and considerations for Kleen-Rite’s shipping estimates.

  1. Shipping estimates will be calculated based on the cost to ship from the closest regional Distribution Center (DC) to the customer. Not all items are stocked at all locations and may result in shipments from multiple DCs.
  2. All shipments are estimated on a prepaid basis
  3. Alaska, Hawaii, and International shipping estimates are not available on line due to the information needed. Please call Kleen-Rite for an estimate.
  4. These estimates are based on standard delivery services to commercial addresses. Any additional delivery needs may incur additional charges including residential delivery charges, COD, etc.
  5. These estimates do not include hazardous materials. Additional charges per package are assessed for items determine to be hazardous materials.
  6. Pricing and timing of delivery varies across zip codes in the U.S. Shipments with multiple packages may have discrepancies in pricing due to shipping size and weight calculations. Some items do not travel well in the same carton and thus will not be consolidated causing multiple packages (i.e. light bulbs and 5 gallon pails of soap).
  7. Larger shipments exceeding 92 lbs in weight will require a call for quote.
