Eliminate annoying vibration in your spray guns with this pulsation dampener. Customers will enjoy washing their vehicles when the spray gun is not vibrating. They will also stay in your bays longer, leading to higher profits for you. Additionally, your equipment will last longer when your pump runs smoothly and does not vibrate. This pulsation dampener handles a maximum flow rate of 6 GPM and is precharged with nitrogen to 450 PSI.
This pulsation dampener is designed to absorb the vibration of the pump as the pump pulses back and forth during the process of creating pressure for the fluid stream of your spray gun. Your customer won't feel any vibration in the spray gun, making it comfortable for them to use. It also increases the longevity of the components in your system since they won't be constantly exposed to vibrations. This model is precharged with nitrogen to 450 PSI. It handles a maximum flow rate of 6 GPM, pressure of 3000 PSI, and temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The burst strength is 12,000 PSI.
Are you wondering if you need a pulsation dampener or not? Phil Donnelly from our Fix It with Phil Series on YouTube said, "In my opinion, ALL the time!" Watch Phil's video to learn more about pulsation dampeners.
Note: If you plan on keeping a few spare pulsation dampeners on hand, the shelf life of the nitrogen pre-charge is approximately six months. After that, it will need to be recharged.
Caution: When recharging this pulsation dampener, charge it with nitrogen to one-half of the system operating pressure. Do not recharge beyond the rated operating pressure. NEVER use a gas other than nitrogen.
Once installed, check the nitrogen pre-charge every 3 months. This can be done by attaching a pressure gauge to the valve stem at the top of the pulsation dampener.
